Oh, ähhh...

... Tachchen! Dass hier noch jemand reinschaut... Ja, uns gibt es noch! Viel gepostet haben wir aber nicht. Warum nicht? Naja, es gab nicht sooo viel, was man mit Fotos auch hätte greifbar machen. Viel Detailarbeit. Dass eine Silikonfuge fehlt, das sieht man. Dass dort, wo eine hingehört, auch eine ist, das sieht man eher nicht. Ob ein Fensterbrett nur mal so eingeklemmt ist oder schon befestigt ist, das sieht man auch eher nicht. 

Sockelleisten sieht man dann schon eher, aber wer will sich schon meterweise Sockelleisten ansehen? All diese Detailarbeiten nehmen aber unglaublich viel Zeit ein. Dann waren wir auch mal im Urlaub und Zack! ist es auch schon August! 

In den folgenden Bildern könnt ihr aber ein paar Dinge sehen, die sich seit dem letzten Post geändert haben. Langsam aber sicher wird die Aufgabenliste immer kürzer, wenn sich auch die ein oder andere Aufgabe als wesentlich zeitintensiver herausstellt, als erhofft.

Achso, auf dem Dach haben wir jetzt eine riesige Solaranlage. Die läuft jetzt seit etwas mehr als drei Wochen und lief auch im Mistwetter so gut, dass wir fast keinen Strom aus dem Netz brauchten. 

 

 

Well, uhhh....

Hello there! Who would've thought that people still come around checking on this... Yes! We are still alive! We just didn't post much. Or anything really. Why didn't we post? Well, there wasn't really that much that we could show in pictures. Lots of detail work. You will notice when a silicone joint is missing. When it is where it's supposed to be, you won't really notice. The visual difference of a window sill just wedged in where it's supposed to go compared to it actually being mounted is rather minute as well.

You WILL see base boards, but did you really come checking to see pictures of miles and miles of base boards? All that type of details takes a LOT of time though. We've also been on vacation and just like that it's already August.

The following pictures will show a couple of things that have changed since the last post. Slowly but surely our to-do list is shrinking. Though some of the tasks take more time than expected.

 Oh, we also have one humongous solar system on the roof now. It's been operational for a little over three weeks now and even with the crappy weather we had, it performed well enough, that we barely needed electricity from the grid.
